Known for her warm personality and joyful spirit, Merrill Mitchell is a Nebraska-born performer and visual artist based in New York City. Since moving to New York in fall of 2023, she has appeared Off-Broadway in Michael Levin's original musical, Sober Songs, as well as in concerts and cabaret houses throughout the city.

 

She is an alumni and intern of the Kristin Chenoweth Broadway Bootcamp, where she began working with many of her mentors, including Broadway’s Faith Prince, American Idol’s Michael Orland, and her revered voice teacher; Broadway Artist Alliance’s Celeste Simone.

 

As a classically trained soprano, Merrill has experience performing in the United States, Spain, and Austria as a performer and vocalist. She values authenticity, kindness, and a true spirit of hard work. She is managed by LAU Talent. In her free time, she enjoys painting, teaching pottery, animal rescue, and spending time with her kitty Pemma, whom she took home from a parking lot during a Summerstock contract.
